Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product knowledge in the area of advanced analytics (products including SAS, R, SPSS, S+, and others) to assist in Netezza sales efforts and partnering activities.
Accountability/Scope (range of responsibilities):
Specialist would support field sales in engagements where advanced analytics will be utilized or is a key to the sales cycle. Also would provide corporate based resources with hands-on knowledge of customer requirements and current technology trends.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Work with various Netezza account teams to provide technical sales support in sales/product presentations, product positioning, product demonstration, and implementation. Serve as the corporate product specialist and functional expert for a wide range of analytic tools that interoperate with Netezza. Build proof-of-concept analytic applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping.
